Insurance

I accept insurance and am in-network with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield Connecticut, Aetna, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health, and Carelon Behavioral Health.

Self-pay and out-of-network clients are also welcome. I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement, though coverage depends on your specific plan. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your benefits.

If you want to use out-of-network (OON) benefits, here are some questions to ask when you contact your insurance company:

  • Does my plan offer Out of Network (OON) Benefits?

  • What is my Out of Network Deductible?

  • How much of my Out of Network deductible have I met to date?

  • Once I reach my deductible, how much does my plan reimburse for services provided by an Out of Network mental health provider?

  • How do I submit OON claims for reimbursement?

No Surprises Act

The No Surprises Act, passed in 2020, helps protect clients from unexpected medical bills. As part of this law, the Good Faith Estimate provision (effective January 1, 2022) requires out-of-network healthcare providers, including therapists, to give clients an estimate of expected costs for services.

All new out-of-network clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate Form at the start of treatment to review and sign.

You can learn more about the No Surprises Act here.
